Overload!

*Sigh* I appear to be up to my eyeballs in stuff!

- work sucks as we approach year end... ok yes, I have a job, I'm grateful for this, but really, seriously, the amount of pressure we are under at the moment is just unreal... I have taken to staging my own quiet rebellion by spending far too much time on the net and finding free stories to copy and paste into word and read.... admittedly then I feel guilty and end up either staying late or taking work home.. which just kind of defeats the object!

- tutor e-mailed me to remind me that I have an over due assignment... I know this... I just have no desire to do it... you'd think in my final blinking year I'd be at least a little motivated, if nothing else to get the damn thing over and done with .... though I am still not convinced that actually having a qualification will change anything...... certainly won't make me decide what I want to do when I grow up

- LiAW story is all mapped out, partially written and on track...... though the plot bunny has had to act as arbitrator between me and the characters as they want to do their own thing, no matter how many times I explain it's a love story and has to have a happy ever after....... they have their own ideas.  My research has thrown up some really interesting stuff about gay relationships in the Viking period - particularly in some of the Sagas (though I'm pleased that I decided any sex scenes would be fade out..... cos trying to work out what the hell they could use for lube got me stumped)

- Upshot of the above would be that I completely forgot to pick up my prescription earlier on, erm, well about 3 days ago, and have now run out of my normal painkillers...... which is not good when you only realise at 8 pm when your back and hip have decided not to talk to each other...... going to try and cope with the over the counter meds till tomorrow, cos if I take the scary horse pill type ones I will be asleep for 24 hours!

Am counting down now to my week off at the beginning of April!
