As my home town was in the (inter)national news .... because the motorway that runs past it was closed due to a spillage of Marmite (love the stuff personally!) which has kept us all in bad jokes for the last two days... i thought I'd go with a couple of bands from the city. There are loads more, these just happen to be probably two of the most recognisable.
Pulp were probably one of my favourite Brit-pop bands (I am that old) and this is probably my favourite song
Arctic Monkeys... I love the title of this one because it is just such a Sheffield expression
And now I am going to go back to lurking around the net... though the thread I was having to sit on my hands to avoid responding to on one of the goodreads fora has at least disappeared....
