100 Words*

Hand in hand we waded into the sea, following the path of the setting sun.
When the water lapped around our hips we stopped and turned to face each other.

Winding her arms around me she pulled me closer and we sunk into the water to float together.
The changes to my legs felt strange. Uncomfortable, but not painful.
Then, flashing our silver blue scaled tails into the air, we dived down into the deeper water to start our new life.

*100 words is the traditional length for a drabble - The purpose of which is to test the author's ability to express interesting and meaningful ideas in an extremely confined space...... an evil minded genius (okay, a friend) suggested I should start writing some and blogging them .... she even fished through my photos on my pc to start me off with prompts.....so here you go!
