Their footsteps on the polished wooden floor echoed in
the empty house.
“Finally! A
home of our own.” Sam said as he pulled
Josh into the front room, before pushing him back against the wall. Bringing their heads close, he whispered. “I
think we should celebrate.”
The keys in Josh’s hand hit the floor as Sam fell to
his knees.
Not long after that Josh slid, boneless, down the
wall to join him.
“So, that’s one room christened, only five more to go.” Josh
smiled lazily. The doorbell rang before
Sam could reply. “Maybe after the removal
people have gone.”
